Woven Capital Welcomes Nicole LeBlanc as Partner

I am excited to introduce Nicole LeBlanc, who is joining the Woven Capital investment team as a Partner in the Tokyo office.

Most recently, Nicole was a partner at 2150.vc, a venture capital firm based in Copenhagen that is part of Woven Capital’s LP portfolio and that invests in technology companies seeking to sustainably reimagine the urban environment. Nicole also led corporate venture capital at Google’s Sidewalk Labs, where she collaborated with leaders in the automotive, financial services and real estate sectors to find solutions to the critical issues that cities face now.

At Woven Capital, we have been entrusted to invest in world-changing companies that can accelerate the success of both Woven Planet and Toyota. We are fortunate for the opportunity to continue our work and grow as one team to make it happen. The addition of Nicole will further energize the team with senior leadership, strengthen our investment thesis development, and enhance our partnerships with startups.

Nicole brings with her a wealth of talent and experience as a venture investor. She’s a dynamic and creative problem-solver who has backed more than 200 companies and worked closely with founders, their teams and partners to build lasting and exceptional businesses to scale. She has deep expertise in urban technology and sustainability, areas that are increasingly intersecting as the need for useful mobility solutions continues to grow. I am confident that Nicole’s contributions to Woven Capital will be immediate and long lasting.
